Basic information about the treatment process
The patients will get all the necessary information about the required preoperative examinations regarding anaesthesia, which is mainly spinal.
Patients are admitted to hospital one hour before the surgery. After the surgery, the patient is admitted to the hospital unit. He stays in the unit overnight, where nurses, a physiotherapist and the doctor on duty take care of him/her. The next day, control radiographs of the operated foot are made and the foot is bandaged. In the afternoon, the patient is being released. Further controls are arranged with the doctor.
